Introduction

Installing a dual-camera toilet is a relatively simple process that can be completed in a few hours. By following the steps outlined in this guide, you can ensure a successful installation.

Materials Required
Dual-camera toilet
Wrench
Screwdriver
Plumber's putty
Caulk gun
Caulk

Step 1: Turn off the Water Supply

Locate the water supply valve behind the toilet and turn it off. Flush the toilet to remove any remaining water from the tank.

Step 2: Disconnect the Water Supply Line

Using a wrench, disconnect the water supply line from the bottom of the toilet tank.

Step 3: Remove the Old Toilet

Using a wrench, loosen the nuts that secure the toilet to the floor. Carefully lift the toilet straight up and remove it from the flange.

Step 4: Clean the Toilet Flange

Use a sponge or rag to clean the toilet flange of any dirt or debris. Apply a bead of plumber's putty around the base of the flange.

Step 5: Install the New Toilet

Place the new toilet on the flange and carefully align it. Press down firmly to secure it.

Step 6: Tighten the Nuts

Turn on the water supply valve behind the toilet. Check for any leaks around the base of the toilet or the water supply line.

Step 9: Install the Camera

Open the package containing the camera and remove the contents. Identify the camera base and the mounting bracket.

Step 10: Attach the Mounting Bracket to the Toilet

Align the mounting bracket with the back of the toilet bowl and mark the location of the screw holes with a pencil.

Step 11: Drill Pilot Holes

Using a drill, create pilot holes at the marked locations.

Step 12: Screw in the Mounting Bracket

Screw the mounting bracket into place using the provided screws.

Step 13: Attach the Camera Base to the Mounting Bracket

Align the camera base with the mounting bracket and insert the screws provided to secure it.

Step 14: Install the Camera

Gently push the camera down into the camera base until it is firmly seated.

Step 15: Caulk Around the Camera

Apply a bead of caulk around the base of the camera to prevent water from leaking.

Step 16: Connect the Cameras to the Recording Device

Connect the cameras to the recording device according to the manufacturer's instructions.
