Tools you will need:

Phillips screwdriver

Flathead screwdriver

Anti-static wrist strap

New LED backlight strip


Instructions:

Disconnect the monitor from the power outlet and all cables.

Put on your anti-static wrist strap. This will help to prevent damage to the monitor's internal components.

Place the monitor face down on a soft surface.

Remove the screws that secure the back panel of the monitor.

Carefully lift off the back panel. Be careful not to damage the monitor's internal components.

Locate the LED backlight strip. It is usually located along the edges of the monitor's screen.

Disconnect the LED backlight strip from the power supply board.

Remove the screws that secure the LED backlight strip to the monitor's frame.
