In this guide, we will go through the steps on how to add a monitoring host to a Hikvision server. This is a necessary step in order to be able to remotely monitor your Hikvision cameras and other devices.

Step 1: Log in to the Hikvision server

Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your Hikvision server into the address bar. You will be prompted to enter your username and password. Once you have entered your credentials, click the "Login" button.

Step 2: Go to the "Configuration" page

Once you are logged in, click on the "Configuration" tab in the top menu. Then, click on the "Network" tab in the left-hand menu.

Step 3: Click on the "Monitoring Host" tab

On the "Network" page, click on the "Monitoring Host" tab. This will open a list of all the monitoring hosts that have been added to the server.

Step 4: Click on the "Add" button

To add a new monitoring host, click on the "Add" button. This will open a new window where you can enter the IP address or domain name of the monitoring host, as well as the port number that the monitoring host is listening on.
