3. Use a paperclip or other pointed object to press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds.
4. The device will restart and the IP address will be reset to the default settings.

Reset Using the Web Interface

You can also reset the IP address of a Hikvision surveillance device using the web interface. To do this, follow these steps:1. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of the device in the address bar.
2. Enter the username and password for the device. The default username is "admin" and the default password is "12345".
3. Click on the "Configuration" tab.
4. Click on the "Network" tab.
5. Click on the "TCP/IP" tab.
6. Enter the new IP address for the device.
7. Click on the "Save" button.
8. The device will restart and the IP address will be changed.

Additional Notes* If you have forgotten the username or password for the web interface, you can reset it by pressing and holding the reset button for about 30 seconds. This will restore the device to its factory default settings.
* If you are unable to reset the IP address of the device using either of the methods described above, you may need to contact Hikvision technical support for assistance.
