The company's new offerings will provide increased storage capacity for video surveillance systems, enabling organizations to retain larger amounts of video data for longer periods.

The growing adoption of high-resolution cameras and the increasing use of video analytics have led to a significant increase in the amount of data generated by surveillance systems. This has created a need for storage solutions that can handle large volumes of data and provide reliable performance.

Seagate's new surveillance storage offerings include:
Exos X16 16TB HDD: The Exos X16 is designed for high-capacity surveillance systems that require large amounts of storage. With a capacity of 16TB, the Exos X16 can store up to 3,300 hours of HD video footage.
SkyHawk AI 8TB HDD: The SkyHawk AI is optimized for video surveillance systems that use artificial intelligence (AI). The drive features a built-in AI engine that can analyze video data in real-time, enabling organizations to identify patterns and trends that may be missed by traditional surveillance systems.
Nytro 3032 SSD: The Nytro 3032 is a high-performance solid-state drive (SSD) that is designed for demanding surveillance applications. The drive offers read speeds of up to 3,200MB/s and write speeds of up to 2,500MB/s, making it ideal for applications that require fast data access and low latency.

These new offerings complement Seagate's existing portfolio of surveillance storage solutions, which includes a range of HDDs and SSDs designed for different applications and performance requirements.
